I can't really speak for the whole world, but as an American I feel insulted when I visit GB. They talk about how much they can drink but their bartenders aren't even allowed to free pour. It's like an exact science to make sure I didn't get anymore than 1 ounce. Central and South America is a totally different story. Plan to take a backpacking trip around Europe with a friend soon so hopefully there's non of that automatic pouring machine bullshit.
